Role Overview
We are looking for a Content & Social Media Executive who can own end-to-end content creation and distribution across blogs, case studies, PR content, website copy, and social channels.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys researching B2B topics, turning complex ideas into clear content, and consistently publishing high-quality material that drives engagement, SEO performance, and brand credibility.
Your role will be to own the content creation and publication of all our key channels including website blog, LinkedIn, YouTube, X etc. In addition any new channels ( e.g. Podcasts) should be explored too.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Editing
- Write, edit, and publish:
- Blog articles (thought leadership, product, and industry topics)
- Customer case studies and success stories
- Press releases and announcements
- Website and landing page copy
- Email and social media content
- Own the preparation, writing, and submission of content for industry and trade award entries.
- Translate technical and product-led inputs into clear, engaging, business-focused narratives
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content formats
Content Planning & Velocity
- Own and manage the content calendar across blog and social channels
- Ensure consistent content output aligned with business priorities, product launches, and partnerships
- Repurpose long-form content into social posts, short-form content, and email snippets
Social Media Management
- Plan, write, and schedule social media posts (primarily LinkedIn; others as required)
- Engage with relevant industry conversations, comments, and mentions
- Support founder-led and company-level social content
SEO & Performance Optimisation
- Conduct basic keyword research and optimise content for SEO
- Improve on-page SEO (headlines, metadata, internal linking)
- Monitor performance and continuously improve content based on data
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Content Velocity
- Blogs published: 4–6 per month
- Case studies / long-form assets: 1–2 per month
- Social posts: 3–5 per week (LinkedIn-focused)
- Content calendar adherence: ≥ 95% on-time publishing
Engagement
- Average engagement rate on social posts: +20–30% growth over 6 months
- Post-level engagement: Likes, comments, shares per post trending upward
- Website engagement: Improved average time on page and reduced bounce rate for content pages
SEO Contribution
- Keyword rankings: Top 10 rankings for targeted long-tail B2B keywords within 3–6 months
- Organic traffic: Month-on-month growth from content-led pages
- Internal linking impact: Improved crawlability and content discovery
- Lead influence: Content contributing to inbound leads, demos, or partner conversations
Demand Generation
- Assisting in the “top of funnel” lead generation. Promoting new enquiries to Monsoon & Apex via typical CTA ( forms, email and other in-bound channels)
Skills & Experience
Required
- Must be highly fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently.
- 2–5 years’ experience in B2B content and social media roles
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to clarity and structure
- Experience writing blogs, case studies, and web copy
- Familiarity with LinkedIn as a primary B2B channel
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimisation
- Comfortable working with technical or product-led teams
- Exposure to and strong interest in using GenAI content tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Jasper to research, draft, and refine content.
- Understanding of AI strengths and limitations; ability to edit AI output critically
- Exposure and working experience of Marketing automation tools (Hubspot)
Preferred
- Experience in B2B, eCommerce, or technology companies
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
- Experience with content tools such as:
- Google Analytics / Search Console
- SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar)
- Social scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)
- Ability to interview customers or internal stakeholders for content creation
