With a background in Journalism and extensive experience in web content management, Claudia’s career has been marked by her focus on making things work better. Living abroad for the past five years, Claudia has embraced new challenges and opportunities, which have shaped her into the dedicated professional she is today.
Moving from Brazil to Ireland, and now residing in Portugal, Claudia’s journey reflects her desire for professional advancement, a better quality of life, and an escape from Rio’s intense summer heat. During these transformative years, she has achieved significant milestones, including becoming a mother, mastering a new language, and launching an international career.

Claudia’s journey to Monsoon began with a significant life change when she moved from Ireland to Portugal with her family. In 2022, she decided it was time for a new career challenge and started self-studying Quality Assurance. Her dedication and passion for QA led her to an unpaid internship opportunity at Monsoon in 2023. Embracing this opportunity with determination, Claudia quickly proved her capabilities and found her place within the Monsoon family. This pivotal moment marked the start of a rewarding career path.
A Day in the Life
Claudia’s day starts early, around 7am, with a moment of gratitude for the new day. After taking care of her son’s morning routine and dropping him off at school, she prepares herself with a hot cup of coffee and breakfast. As a Junior QA Engineer, Claudia’s typical day involves manual testing for various projects, documenting defect findings, and participating in the development of test cases. Her meticulous approach and keen eye for detail ensure that the products meet the highest standards of quality.
